Smoky eyes give an attractive look to the eyes. It can be achieved by following methods:

Use a highlighter pencil right under the eyebrow, with a wider sweep, near the end, right on the bone. Blend, emphasizing the natural curves of your eye. The crease is very important to the smokey eye and it needs special attention. With a taupe colored shadow, or a mixture of gray and brown, pick up a small amount (to begin), and work it into the crease area. Continue until the area is well defined, with lots of attention to the blending process. Remember, the look we are after is smokey. Use silver eye shadow on the lid and the inner corner and a deeper grey on the socket crease, outer corner and near the lashes.

Wipe out the eyeliner and redefine the shape of your eye by making the line narrower in the inner corner and wider in the outer corner. It gives it an upward slanting almond shape.

Step 1. Apply eyeliner perectly. Apply your base eyeshadow all over the upper eyelid. Blend well with a base brush.

Step 2. First start with a sheer nude color all over the eye. Go from lid to brow.

Step 3. Next, apply a dark brown or plum eyeshadow from your lid to your crease.

Step 4. Finish with two coats of black mascara.
