What are the causes of Erythema Multiforme ?

The cause of the Erythema Multiforme are viral, bacterial, and fungal infections; sensitivity to food or drugs; immunizations; or sometimes it occurs in association with other disorders. The main cause behind Erythema Multiforme are unknown yet some very possible are as follows:

1)Hypersensitivity (allergic) reaction that occurs in response to medications, infections, or illness.

2)Associated infections include herpes simplex and mycoplasma infections.
