3. It may develop in bum scars, and in old wounds.

4. It can develop in areas of the skin exposed to extremes of temperature; for instance, kangri cancer occurs on the part of the skin which is in contact with the kangri.

The treatment depends on the type of skin cancer and how much it has spread- the earlier the treatment is began, the greater is the chance of a complete recovery. Skin cancer can often be cured permanently without any risk of recrudesce. The different types of treatments present are surgery, radiotherapy and anti-cancer drugs. Which treatment is used depends on the stage of the cancer and the type of cancer.
